Why DPP InZicht?
Over the next years, the European Union will introduce the Digital Product Passport (DPP), making product information about composition, origin, and sustainability an integral part of the fashion and textile value chain. While this offers opportunities for innovation and circular business models, many SMEs still struggle with questions around implementation, required data, and technical solutions.
DPP InZicht addresses these challenges by:
- providing clear guidance on the impact of DPP for fashion and textile companies,
- developing practical tools and approaches tailored to SMEs,
- engaging with sector partners to ensure results answer real industry needs,
- and supporting the transition toward a more transparent and circular economy.
The research is carried out by Cyber3Lab (Howest), the Business Innovation Lab (Howest), and the Expertisecentrum Duurzaam Ondernemen en Digitale Innovatie (Thomas More).
